The Peterborough Petes are pleased to announce the selection of Slater Koekkoek from the Notre Dame Hounds with their first selection on the 2010 OHL Priority Selection.
Former UCC Player, Slater Koekkoek was selected in the 1st round, 7th overall in the OHL Priority Selection Draft, by the Peterborough Petes. Slater played for the UCC Min Bantam team in 2007-08 and affiliated to the ODMHA Champion UCC Major Bantam team that year, where he attended the Ontario Major Bantam Provincials, playing a significant role in their 4th place finish. The Peterborough Petes are pleased to announce the selection of Slater Koekkoek from the Notre Dame Hounds with their first selection on the 2010 OHL Priority Selection. Koekkoek, the native of Mountain Ontario in the OttawaValley was the MVP and Top Defenseman at the 2010 Telus Cup Major Midget Championship last week in Levi, Quebec.
