Minor Midget Cyclones - League Champs!

The Upper Canada Cyclones Minor Midgets celebrated the Association's first Regular Season Championship with a 4-2 victory over the Ottawa Jr. 67’s on February 7th.

Captain Clark Seymour was presented with the Presidents Cup by OEMHL AAA Rep John Murray prior to the team’s final regular season home game in Kemptville at the North Grenville Community Complex. The Minor Midgets (1993 age group) posted a 18-4-6 (W-L-T) regular season (31-15-10 overall) record in capturing their first championship after playing runner up in 2008. Guided by returning head coach Lawrence Hinch and assistants Greg McClaren & Brett Stufko, the Cyclones add this milestone to the teams 4th place finish at last years Ontario Provincial Championship in Stratford On. The team now prepares for a first round playoff match-up with league rival Eastern Ontario Wild.
