This bursary is being established to be used to help a player or players in need of financial assistance to allow them to play hockey with the Upper Canada Cyclones AAA Association or players at any level of minor hockey registered with the Richmond Munster Minor Hockey Association.  Lockie, through both his words and his actions, was widely known in local hockey circles for advocating for all children to be able to participate in hockey and that the ability to pay should not be a deterrent to any child's ability to participate.
